Eight Ingredient Codfish  


Don’t let the number of ingredients put you off; this dish is surprisingly easy to pull off and the results are well worth the effort.



Cod steaks

Teriyaki Sauce (5 Star Oriental)
Dark Soy Sauce
Light Soy Sauce
Plum, mashed
Plum sauce
1 capful hua tiao jiu
Sesame oil
Maple syrup, optional
Lemon, optional



1. Marinate the cod steaks for 15 – 30 minutes.
2. Bake in oven at 180°C for about 25 minutes. Cooking time will vary with the number and size of the cod steaks, as well as the oven used.
3. Five minutes to the end of oven time, brush steaks with maple syrup (Travis’ secret ingredient).

Squeeze some lemon juice over it. Serve.
