Mom has cancer
When we’re older
And full of cancer
It doesn’t matter now,
Come on, get happy,
‘Cause nothing lasts forever,
And I will always love you.

hope your mom’s ok. my uncle has cancer too. I dont know how he’;s doing though. Will see him during Chinese New year.
Hi Dawn, I think she’s doing ok. Still having some discomfort (stomach ache) from the surgery and I think she might be a little tired from starting the chemo, but generally fine. I hope she / her body gets used to the drugs soon, and that the surgery heals properly. Then she should be fine.
Which kind of cancer does your uncle have, and which stage?
Lots of my friends have parents / parents-in-law with cancer. It’s funny how much we’ve learnt about the disease and the vast difference between public and private healthcare.
Thank God they were there when I needed to talk.
Good luck, and hope your mum is okay, and hope you are too - it’s always stressful when a loved one is ill, so do remember to take care of yourself too.
Good luck! Hope your mom is okay/gets well soon (:
It’s Stella - your cupcake customer from Dec last year. Amy’s friend? So sorry t o hear about your mom. I went through it with my mom too. If you need someone to talk to, you know where to reach me. But remember, as I learnt from my own experiences. The caregiver also needs to take good care of his or herself so do take good care yah!
