Dawn’s Links

Here are some of Dawn’s links. She’s an avid craftster like myself. Well, it seems like everyone else’s bookmarks are more organised than mine. And when I’m busy, all semblance of order just goes out of the window.

Just bought Denise’s Schmidt’s Quilts book! It’s pretty inspirational and worth the US25 dollar pricetag.

Hello Lisie!!! Long time no see! Made anything lately?

I’m thinking of that book too, along with Amy Butler’s new book, Cath Kidston’s In print, and something on Billy Travilla.

Being a Denyse Schmidt fan, I thought you would like to know…Denyse is guest writing on www.QuiltersBuzz.com for the next few posts. Talking about her fabric line and other new stuff in the works.

:) I haven’t been crafting lately - been busy with the last bits of school before i graduate. But the denyse schmidt book isn’t too bad, except that the patterns have to be printed out and enlarged several hundred times larger, which is kind of a pain in the ass for me.

I saw this book “Tease : Inspired T-shirt Transformations by Superstars of Art, Craft, and Design ” in the bookstore yesterday for US$7, and was so tempted to buy it. But I just bought another book on t-shirt reconstruction last month!

Bah. The Cath Kidson book looks interesting though.

dawn : oh also, regarding the gocco, I know of a local crafter on Craftster who has her own gocco kit. She goes by the name of keymistress. Maybe you might want to ask her for shipping tips.
