Crimes of Type
400th post! I was walking out of school today and passed this on my way out:

Creating a unicase typeface out of resized characters (Trade Gothic? News Gothic? I can’t tell) is sickening. I guess it’s got a quirky sort of feeling, but I don’t understand how a school with a design faculty can end up with things like these. Ugh.

Posted by: Karen at February 13, 2006 05:18 PMalot of times, students are made to do designs their lecturers and directors feel its hip and trendy and thus neglecting all the aesthetic portion… :( most of the time is to please the big bosses and once they approve/like certain design, no matter how cmi it is, they also got to do it.
