Remembering Mortality

Remembering Mortality is a short film done by Random Pictures - a group of Interactive Media Design students from Temasek Poly for their major project as well as submission for Project Pilot. It is about Ian and the theory of 12 minutes of mind activity post death. I love the website, and hence the free publicity and hosting. Now they owe us dinner :D

Hey, it’s the Hoh & Partners guy!

Randy, your punctuation’s all wrong. Em-dash is not the same as a hyphen. (Gasp!)

Emdash? Where?

And Hoh and Partners?

Posted by: Randy at August 30, 2005 10:35 PM

Nice stuff. Very Myst, for those old enough to remember.

Yes, Hoh and Partners … Jerry something.

Feng Quan, in fact, if you know how much these boys can eat, you’ll realise that it’s in fact very expensive publicity.

crap.. can take it off?? hahahhahaha well canteen food isn’t tt expensive.. curry puff any one?

anyway, yeah it’s jerry hoh.. but never heard of hoh and partners .. some sort of law firm??

Yup, he must be the Hoh in Hoh & Partners. You may remember the low budget TV commercial which features the accident victim in a neck brace.

You guys influenced by Donnie Darko? The music in the intro sounds like the Gary Jules version of Mad World featured in the movie.

Randy / Ernest, you should check this site out.

Dont get too excited when Mischa starts talking!

Posted by: jimmy at August 31, 2005 12:27 AM

Heh, COOL :D

I love the email notification for comments functions. Feels like an instant messenger. The OC is coming back this Friday, we can’t wait. But anyhows, it’s actually quite weird when Mischa speaks cause she has this pretty thick British accent, when she’s supposed to be American.. but not like we care.

And btw btw, Ernest is down with a bad bad case of sore eyes. His eyes are red. Like, red red and it’s apparenlty infectious. All during submissions week.

Ha ha, we’re a sight for sore eyes! LOLOL.

And yes Randy, your punctuation’s all wrong. Em-dash is (supposed to be used) used in place of the hyphen (minus-sign thing) up there. If you have the Textile plugin installed on MT (like we do on E2A) all you have to do is type — (2 dashes) and it converts your hyphens into an em-dash; three for en-dashes if I’m not wrong.

oh, it works on the comments too! I have to get to customizing my template…

Posted by: jbarks at August 31, 2005 09:50 AM

I’m using only the SmartyPants plugin for smart quotes.

whoa, even in my current state of slightly blurry vision i can see that the site and film is quite well done. oh and randy, the OC comes back next friday. try to tahan for one more week :)
