Chatuchak cutie
On our recent trip to Bangkok, we saw this incredibly cute puppy for sale at Chatuchak for something ridiculous like S$40! We would have brought him home if we could. He was desperately trying to get our attention, and we gave him plenty. When it was clear we were not going to be his rescuers, he promptly walked off and joined the rest of the pups! Photo credit goes to Lee Hong.

omg is that a real puppy? it’s too cute to be real!

apprently, my housemate’s fren bought a dog from bangkok. and many moons later, she started ringing everyone asking why is her dog standing on twos. turns out…it wasn’t a dog…it was a bear! tsk tsk!
Posted by: may at July 27, 2005 10:07 AMCan anybody tell me why can’t we find these little cuties here in Singapore? It seems that there are many many other breeds in overseas than in SG. Many of my friends who had been to Chatuchak has told me about the lovely puppies & other pets there. I wonder if the Thais love dogs as much as the europeans.
Posted by: Beverly at July 27, 2005 02:21 PMMay, that’s the weirdest story I’ve ever heard.
Posted by: Karen at July 27, 2005 03:43 PMMay - how did your fren actually bring the dog/bear back from Bangkok? Do they allow it??
Animal confusion is perfectly normal. We’ve always thought Ren’s a little lion cub!
Posted by: jimmy at July 27, 2005 03:46 PMyea weird…she was wondering why her “puppy” was eating so much.
and how did she bring it back? i’d like to say “legally”? lol!
Posted by: may at July 27, 2005 04:08 PMHeh, just out of curiousity, what did she do with the bear?
Posted by: Randy at July 27, 2005 11:29 PMSounds to me like a classic urban legend in the making.
