Camouflage Clutch

I’m so excited! Loomis (the one with a cute dog avatar) posted a link to my site on a crafting forum! I think it’s about time I posted this clutch that I sent out for the last purse swap that I took part in. I sent it out too damn late, but luckily my partner was very, very patient. And even said that the biscotti that I sent along were “delicious”.
The outside is a thick camouflage material, as you can see. And I wish I have a photo of the inside. It’s fully lined with the smalll flower fabric that I used for the flower pin. It has a magnetic button and some kind of gusset on the sides. Too bad there aren’t enough photos for you to get a good idea.
Anyway, this might also be a good time to plug Baked Ideas. Currently the bestseller is the tutorial which I must say is extremely detailed and idiot-proof. Also popular are the pink paisley pouch and the fuzzy flower brooch. The rest are pretty much just there, for showing off. :-D
If you are wondering about the broken image that you see when you are posting your comment, it’s because Lenny is helping me install James’ Captcha Plugin, an anti-spam plugin for MT. Just that we’re currently having some problems compiling the modules. But it should be up pretty soon.

Posted by: Randy at July 18, 2005 02:00 AMHa! I’m gonna try and make a cheque book holder next.
And yes, there’s hell lot of spam. Damn.
Posted by: Karen at July 18, 2005 11:06 AMOh, I found your blog from glitter. Love it. Love the clutch. I haven’t found an easy way to make one yet, but I am determind. I am also off to buy your cosmetic bag tutorial, it will be a perfect gift for my sisters birthday. I glad I found you, I be linking to you!
Posted by: Joelene at July 19, 2005 05:29 AMCool! The clutch isn’t easy to make, so I guess your method’s the same as mine.
Would love to see what you can do with the tutorial! And do email me if you have any questions.
Posted by: Karen at July 19, 2005 11:59 AMWon’t be able to install the captcha plugin after all.
Our version of Linux (version 7+, I think) is too old to support the gd module. So gotta wait till we migrate to the new server which will be soon, I hope.
