Are the flower balls handmade by your girlfriends?

Posted by: Beverly at April 7, 2005 02:58 PM

Yeah, two friends worked two “shifts” to get them out. I owe them drinks!!!

I have those shoes!!! Aren’t they divine?!?!?!

Posted by: Pinky at April 21, 2005 10:49 AM

Yep yep yep. They’re my favourite pair now. But I’ve still only worn them once.

One of Karen’s favourite photos from the wedding.

Wow!… It’s so pretty! I wonder how your wedding gown looks like, Karen. I guess it’s a pink-themed wedding? You must have been extremely gorgeous and beautiful on your wedding! ;) Can’t wait to see the rest of your wedding photos Karen.

you’d be right to say pink was the theme … nice shot taken by our photographer Edric.

Ren at the wedding. Just like the rest of the ladies, she got her hair done in the afternoon as well. We tried pinning a flower to her head but she’d have none of that.

Yep, in the middle of all that madness, I actually had to ferry Ren for the “wash ‘n’ blow”, as Amy calls it.

The groomers made a really nice bow for her, but she hated it.

Btw, I arranged the pink roses. My favourite flowers that night! Think we bought three bunches of those white and pink ones.

Maybe you could try these on Ren. They have a small stall in Bugis Market as well, saw it yesterday. I’m sure Ren will look gorgeous. Right, Ren?

The roses are lovely! They are not the normal coloured breeds are they? I don’t think many of the florists have this type of roses. Nice arrangement Karen! Wow, you are a super woman! To think that you have to ferry Ren for grooming and arranged the flowers and to prepare yourself for the wedding in the evening, all in a day! Ren looks pretty on her own. Guess she doesn’t want to steal the bride’s limelight =) For what I know, doggies doesn’t like to have stuff stuck on their heads. They will shake them off for sure! It happened to my shi tzu. He doesn’t like his hair tied up. haha =D

Congrats on your union!

Which groomer did Ren go to btw? I’m q freaked. Just learnt that the groomer I always sent my doggy to, had left a dog dead! Need to find another groomer…

Hey May. Which groomer do you go to? Must tell! So that we won’t accidentally send Ren to him/her.

Once when Ren was a pup, we sent her to this groomer in Thomson, who left her ear bleeding and cut her hair sooo short that she looked Ethiopian!

Oh no poor Ren!!!

I can’t say it here, but its at Upp Serangoon. Apparently, they use hot air to blow dry the dog in crates too long, and left the dog in the sun to dry too long, the dog became dehydrated and died. No wonder Scott (my dog) always rushes to the water bowl when he comes back and his eyes were blood shot.

I wasn’t aware of all these things until i visited http://www.doggiesite.com/forum/ yesterday and found out in horror.

Think we are gonna opt for home groomer oredi.

we used to send ren to kingsley at pet lovers opposite chomp chomp. he’s quite good, always very patient with ren.

now that we’re at holland v, we send her to snips n clips near jelita cold storage.

We are gonna try this http://www.vipaws.com/ sometime next month…

sounds like a really good idea for the groomer to come to your home. dont think it’ll work for ren though. she acts up when we’re around and apparently shes much more obedient at the groomer’s when we’re out of sight. let us know how it goes though.
