Shopping Australia

We’ll be going on a driving holiday in Australia next month. Yiperidoo. And I’m compiling a shopping list to make sure I don’t forget anything:

Sunbeam coffee maker
ABC Delicious’ Wicked
Some Cascade 220 yarn to make a felted bag. Look at all the yummy colours!
Some heavyweight felt
more fabrics and more yarns.

Oh yes, I’m also looking for suggestions on where to go once there, we’ll be going to Sydney and then driving down to Melbourne from there. That’s the plan for now anyway.

You can check out the entire stretch of King St, Newtown, Sydney. Really cool shopping. There’s a shop that’s sells all kinds of buttons, another shop selling romantic dresses, many aspiring young designers there. Check out Nu & Nan too!!! At that same stretch, there’s a cafe there bakes the best muffins and makes the meanest coffee. Ask the guys from Nu & Nan to direct you. (Cleo & Koh) While you are there, you really also have to try the traditional Korean cuisine. Damn nice!!! Not to mention, if you can catch a rock concert there, don’t miss it!!!!

here’s the plan so far - melbourne 7 days, 1 hr flight to Sydney where we spend 8 days.

currently sussing out accommodation on the Great Ocean Road. Doesn’t this place look cool? But we’re leaning towards this place cos of the yummy sounding breakfast!
