Moving Manic

After four years, Manic says goodbye to our Chinatown shophouse and its madcap neighbours. We’re moving to a two-storey house with a garden and our own parking lot.

On the topic of apartment therapy or what Jack calls the IKEA indictment, I should also disclose that we’re putting space invaders on the walls, poetry on the bed, and fishy somewhere funky.

In truth, I would like to be an urban nomad, even though I just bought a copy of Tricia Guild’s Think Pink. Besides, it might be a while before I can afford my own helicopter.

So you finished the white but didn’t touch the red. Wassup wid dat?!

Posted by: Hrant at June 18, 2004 02:38 AM

Ha ha. Trust you to pick up on something like that. We designed labels for those two bottles and the white one waas given empty(!) We decided that the labels didn’t look good in an empty bottle, so we haven’t touched the red.

Now we’re thinking it doesn’t look so good on a full bottle either, so we might just drink it up as well.

I was going to say that it looks like you obviously unpacked the important things first. Prioritization is key to any move.

Yup, I was thinking the same thing about that hp box too.

We might start living here once we get the hot showers and mattresses.
