Not exactly crushes, but this is an excellent collection of circus fonts and I found Big Top.

Hey Karen. got a question. I see your blog is powered by MT but your company site is not. And they’re both hosted on the same server, right? I’m thinking of migrating to MT and a new server. but don’t want my co’s web on MT, just my blog. easy to do in MT, right? thanks…Kisane

Hi Kisane, MT is just an application that you run on the server… it isn’t like an OS or anything like that. So there’s no problem just limiting it to your blog but not your company website.

Chesh, there seems to be some kind of circus fad going on. Misprinted Type’s Great Circus is currently on myfont’s top sellers list. And this month, they’re pushing Bearded Lady as a rising star.

And you know what? They suddenly look so cool!

I actually stumbled across this blog while I was searching for Circus fonts. I am new to html and have not tried “playing” with Macromedia yet, but the Big Top font in the above post is friggin’ sweet and is exactly what I am looking for. When I d/l the file, it will not decompress and stops halfway into it. I am using winrar to extract and it says the syntax is incorrect. I looked at the install notes at the website… but no instructions on the unpacking.Any suggestions? What I am hoping is that it is actually like fonts where I can spell out a sentance to make a banner for a board.

If anyone could email re: this I’d be greatly appreciated and thank you for your time.

Unzip it. Try not to unrar everything.

Wow, I thought circus stuff was weird, hope it doesn’t go too mainstream. I’m not a typographer, so if you check all my circus typography you might be horrified.
