Pink Shoes
I started a collection of pink shoes, without intending to. I bought a pair, then two, then three, then four, and they’re all too pretty to wear.
So I end up buying black and brown shoes for wearing and pink shoes for photographing.
It doesn’t help that my photography skills are wobbly so it’ll be a while before I get to wear them, I guess.

I wonder if shoes are attractive for the promise of movement…

So like supermodels. Very photogenic, but not necessarily good “on the ground” so to speak. I once saw Cindy Crawford (actually I’ve seen her twice, the second time with Jamie Gertz) stepping out of a sushi bar, and I swear she made me think of a camel. Except Cindy wouldn’t survive five minutes in the Sahara.
BTW, the closest craft to type design is shoemaking: the stuff has to look good and be comfortable for a long time. The shoes in that photo are Shelley Volante.

Hrant! They not Shelley Volante. More like Gigi. And I’m looking for a prettier match.
Shelley Volante is like an elegant 50-year-old with big hair. This is more Raggedy-Ann. :)

Must be the mascara-ed lashes. In cartoons, camels often have doe eyes and long lashes. You’ve been watching too much cartoons.

Karen, you are right. This picture looks better than the one in Her World. Great stuff. I think your photography skills are ripe for Half-Baked.
