Chinese Calendar

Chinese calendar at Kenn Munk's

I sent this Chinese calendar out as part of a cultural exchange and Kenn Munk was kind enough to send me this snapshot of it hanging on his kitchen wall. If you look closely, you’ll also see a Singaporean parking coupon on the extreme left of the photo, the peach coloured scrap.

He also wrote that “the drawing was made by my youngest niece, it’s a prince taking a pee. (It’s a phase she’s going through.)”

Well, I suppose even princes have got to pee sometimes.

We work in the heart of Chinatown in Singapore, so just the shop round the corner from the office.

I got both a coupon AND a parking ticket. Violation number 13 as I remember. Not from the same day, though.

number 13 - that would be failure to display valid parking coupon. We use a dollar coupon (like the one you have) for 30 minutes parking in a public lot.

Always thought it was expensive until I went to NY and London and saw the parking charges there!
