Stupid Clients
Designers love to share stupid client quotes. Some of the stories made me laugh out loud. Will post my favourites later.
But I think one of my New Year’s resolutions shall be to love my clients. Let’s see who breaks the spell.

Yup, I think I might have seen it before too. It’s funny and amazing how similar clients are, the world over.

“Why is this flash work so expensive? The software only costs a few hundred dollars right?”

Then proceeded to squash all the letters together. And get this� even removed the spaces between words.

A commisioning editor is looking over my designs for a book jacket. I get one accepted and am then told to apply their logo on spine in usual position. It’s a brown logo. I ask “what brown is that?” and the editor, quick as a flash, says “oh, that’s pantone brown” (‘pantone’ is pronounced “Paan-Toanney…”
It’s a great colour, I use it aaall the time now …
sometimes can it’s the AE that wasnt doing their job…why cant they convince them? All they know is to say yes to client.
