Latest from Luc
Just noticed that Luc Devroye has a fresh page of links and Snog Blog’s one of them. Thanks Luc!
And thanks too to the other great sites which have linked to me: Evelyn Pritt, Cheshire Dave’s Mastication, the very well-designed Robot Johnny which has been featured in this blog design showcase, happily-married-so-quit-sending-him-your-lacy-underthings Woodge, and Lucian’s Tribolum.

Two illustration sites: Kitschy Coup and Carlton Hibbert.
Two German sites: Einfach für Alle and a German forum. I wish I knew what they were saying though. Perhaps someone could translate?
Two forums: Guardian Talk and YayHooray!
Some blogs: Sans and Serif, Vitaminless, Jnkmail, bestkungfu, BA’s Weblog (he surfs A L O T), Promo Guy, and Lauren Rigato.
An entry in Italian. Damn! I’m so excited, but I don’t understand a word.
Posted by: Karen at March 2, 2004 01:00 AMAnother mention, and another and another and a link.
I’m really enjoying the sites of people who have linked to me. And I could really consider setting up the trackback thing too.

The first one says “For the typographers among our readers there’s an interesting interview with Vincent Connare, creator of the most hated type MS Comic Sans (although he gets credit for the real excellent typefaces Trebuchet, Magpie and Fabula): The Vincent Connare Interview. Our most favourite quote: If you love it, you don’t know much about typography and if you hate it you don’t know much about typography either and you should get another hobby.”
The site itself is about daily news concerning better accessible web sites.
The second one is easy: foo simply asks “comic sans?” and gets subsequently hammered by the “Ban Comic Sans” link, followed by a link to the interview and a note that these comments were slightly off-topic. The thread itself was about the font for a gift shop logo.

Posted by: Karen at March 20, 2004 11:38 PMhi karen: i sometimes post interesting type links and/or pictures, so i mentioned your site. that post of mine, in case you’re wondering, expressed nostalgia about “lines and splines” and linked a post of yours who sounded somewhat hopeful about that. greetings from italy (and from my feedreader)
