Brussels, Potatoes & Pine Nuts

This was what was served on the side of tonight’s slow roast dinner. Links and recipes on the way.

Posted by: ze koolie cook at November 10, 2003 04:06 PMOh yes, forgot all about the spinach. But Brussels, Spinach, Potatoes and Pine Nuts is a bit long, isn’t it? Will the chef or his koolie cook come up with something that’s less of a mouthful?
And I must say that the pix looks like something out of Gourmet magazine.

Posted by: Karen at November 11, 2003 03:37 PMKaren, that looks delicious.
Maybe some shredded prosciutto on it too.

Thanks Hrant, I’ll pass on that comment to the chef.
Btw, I heard that he’s attempting something real special for Christmas— “something along the line of duck wrapped in chicken and wrapped in turkey. Very complex!”
Although I would think it’ll be easier to wrap a chicken in duck and then the duck in turkey.
That’ll be one hell of a photo opp for sure.
