Christopher’s Logo Links
What luck to have Christopher Simmons share his logo links with us! Christopher teaches a course entitled Identity Design at the California College of Arts and Crafts, and has served on the board of directors of the San Francisco Chapter of the AIGA (American Institute of Graphic Arts). He is currently authoring a book on logo design for a major publisher.
Louise Fili It doesn’t get much better than this.
Mark Fox The craftsman.
Mark Verlander A well-kept secret.
Chermayeff & Geismar Mobil and NBC, to name two clients….
Bill Gardner Too much good stuff.
MIres Some gems.
Elixir Smart stuff.
Sandstrom A very interesting site.
Other sites of interest:
Logolounge Making it easy.
IdentityWorks Keeping it real.
79,374 logos. In eps format too! Too cool.
Posted by: Karen at October 13, 2003 06:51 PMYeah, I thougth about including logo.nino, but most of those logos are other people’s redrawings of famous marks. Not only are they inaccurate but I’m not sure it’s ethical.
What do others think?
Posted by: Christopher at October 14, 2003 02:55 PMOoh, I didn’t know that they are redrawings. I thought they were somehow “original”. But I guess it could be a lifesaver when your client passes you a jpg for a print project.
